Meet Tonya Christopher: Championing Whistle's Employee-Centric Culture

It has been an incredible journey since joining the Whistle team in December 2023. I am proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes employees in decision-making and continuously seeks to innovate in the experiences and package offerings we provide to our customers.

Over the past months, I’ve had the privilege of visiting several of our sites and connecting with the talented team members who make Whistle the great company it is today. I’m eager to continue visiting more locations and meeting even more of the incredible people who are driving our success.

I’ve also had the distinct honor of witnessing firsthand how the Whistle Express family shows genuine appreciation for its employees. From recognition programs to daily interactions, it’s clear that our people are at the heart of what makes us special. After just six months with the organization, I was humbled to receive the prestigious GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Award, recognizing my partnership and support of the leaders within our organization. This experience solidified my belief in the strength of our culture and the deep commitment we have to one another’s success.

Coming into Whistle Express without a background in the car wash industry, I was quickly met with individuals who were more than willing to share their expertise. Whether it was mechanical knowledge, training initiatives, or operational insights, the team’s willingness to collaborate and support one another made my transition seamless and reinforced the strength of our employee-centric culture.

I am particularly passionate about Whistle’s focus on fostering an environment where every team member feels valued and included, and where feedback is actively encouraged. Recognizing and celebrating the hard work of our teams is a priority, and I’m proud of the initiatives we have in place to acknowledge their contributions.

As we continue to expand and innovate, I’m excited to be part of a company that truly values its employees and is constantly striving to provide the best-in-class customer wash experience.
